Selmi lines for the processing of dried nuts

Production chain machinery for the processing and transformation of dried nuts, designed to roast, crush to a refined paste hazelnuts, pistachios, almonds, cashew nuts, peanuts, seeds and much more in order to obtain anhydrous pastes of pure nuts for spreadable creams, for the creation of artisanal ice-cream, pralinated products and filling, cream sweets-cremino.

The first step consists in roasting with the use of Selmi's ROASTER machines, which are available in two models and with a roasting capacity that varies from 6 kg up to 20 kg. They are equipped with the exclusive patented roasting system Vertiflow System. They are very versatile as they can be combined with a number of different production lines.

Grinder Plus is equipped with a loading hopper for the manual loading of the product. It will grind the dried nuts to granules of sizes between 200 and 300 microns, thus creating a product which, once inserted into the Micron refining ball mill, will result in an anhydrous paste of dried nuts which can be used as a base for an excellent artisanal ice-cream or, by adding extra ingredients such as cocoa powder, sugar, powdered milk or vanilla pods can produce delicious refined spreadable creams of a granularity below 17 microns. It is furthermore possible to create pralinated products, cream sweets, filling creams and chocolate.

Lastly, Vaglio is used to filter the spreadable creams or the created paste of dried nuts to remove any impurities that may have been introduced during processing.

The lines can be designed according to the needs of the individual clients so as to meet the productive requirements of each workshop.

Equipping a workshop with Selmi machinery gives the user the ability to control the production chain and personalise one's products, enhancing the value of the raw materials used.
This is an example of artisanal-friendly technology which does not homogenise but creates uniqueness.
